 friday's after school hot chips.

i don't like to judge things this early on but i will say there were no tears from any of us, scout included. i did feel a tug in my heart for our montessori community as we passed all those unfamiliar faces. the text messages wishing us off this week meant the world to me...we haven't been forgotten.

  4. We had a similar experience this week, mum friends from our old school sent messages & warm wishes and after I dropped off the kids I felt a little sad knowing they were all together having a coffee and catching up.

Friendships take time to develop and I'm sure those unfamiliar faces won't stay that way for long, for you or for me x

  5. Hot chips after school would have to be one of the best childhood memories. Glad they have settled in, they certainly look the part.
Sorry I haven't been around much it has been an intense couple of weeks here, then the storm last week dumped 400mm of rain and left us without power for 4.5 days. The boys got an extra week off school, we have started the clean up, why does it always get busier after the power comes back on????

Scout is looking big yet so tiny at the same time..... so sweet!

  7. Well done you - looks like everyone's happy. I too had a good week. Leila was fine, an old hand in fact and saved me any upset. She has made lots of new friends, full of beans about it, what more can you hope for xx
